Next MADC Club Meeting

12/31/06 - The next MADC Club Meeting will be held at Badger Swim & Stix on Monday, January 8, 2007. Start time is at 5:30 P.M. Click here for a map to Badger Swim & Stix located at 2501 South Stoughton Road.

Madtown Throw Down

12/18/06 - The first winter tourney in Madison will be held at Hiestand park on Saturday January 20, 2007. It will be a bring your own partner best shot doubles tourney. The logistics go as follows.

Open-$60
Open Masters-$60
Advanced-$40
Women-$30

Registration is at Good Times Bar just around the corner from Hiestand from 7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Pre-registration is encouraged and will be available at Take Flight Today. Payouts will be top 1/3rd of each division. With trophies for first place. Every Advanced player and Woman will recieve a Gateway disc for entering. Next MADC Board Meeting December 11

Elver Park Baskets Pulled

11/15/06 - The Disc Golf Course at Elver Park is now closed for the winter.

MADC Fall Picnic

11/14/06 - The 2006 MADC Fall Picnic is this weekend, November 18th at Elver Park (rain date Nov. 19)

Start Time: 10:00am

What:

  1. Random Draw doubles @ 10:00am ($5)
    2. There will be additional temp holes setup.
  2. Glass Nickel Pizza around Noon or so
  3. MADC 2006-2007 Elections
  4. Raffle off a DiscCatcher Sport and other prizes
  5. Random Draw doubles for the afternoon ($5)
  6. Pull baskets and trash cans ~ 4:30pm

Come play, vote, win, have fun and help pull the course. Please bring Tables and Chairs. (The Picnic tables have already been put in storage.)

We will be adjusting the timetable as necessary to finish before dark.

Elver Park Closing

11/07/06 - The Elver Park baskets will be pulled after the MADC Fall Picnic on November 18th, and placed in storage until spring.

So if you want to get in a couple more rounds at Elver Park before it is pulled for the winter now is the time.

Token Creek Baskets Pulled

11/07/06 - Vallarta-Ast Disc Golf Course at Token Creek County Park is now closed for the winter.

Glow Leagues

11/06/06 - Tuesday night League is now switching to Glow Doubles.

Glow: Either glow discs (traditional) or LEDs or Glow Sticks on discs
