This spring the Madison Area Disc Club will be offering Club Members an opportunity to participate in the 2007 MADC Bag Tag Challenge.  All club members will receive a 2007 Bag Tag that can be used to participate in the Monthly Club Bag Tag Challenges or in individual challenges among club members.  The 2007 Bag Tags will be distributed after a Saturday Morning League, date still to be determined.   

Any MADC member who is current with their membership and is present for the distribution of tags after Saturday morning league will be eligible for the initial Bag Tag Drawing.  The Bag Tag Drawing will go something like this:

If there are 15 MADC members present, the first 15 bag tags numbering 1-15 will be placed in a hat.  Those with the lowest score or on the team with the lowest score will draw tags first and continue until all members present have drawn a tag.

Any MADC member not present at the initial Bag Tag Drawing will have their names placed in a hat at the next Club Meeting and Board Members will pick names to correspond with the next consecutive number.  The remaining Bag Tags will be available to new or renewing MADC members in the order the memberships are received.

The idea behind the Bag Tag Challenge is to provide a sense of community among club members and to provide a FUN way of competing among other MADC Club members.  As the regular disc golf season approaches we will be establishing specific Saturday Bag Tag Challenge events as well as some other Bag Tag Challenge events.  A section will be created on the MADC Forum to help track the ongoing bag tag locations.
