TAKEN IT ALL IN 2008

May 24 & 25 at Vallarta-Ast Disc Golf Course (Token Creek)

Players meeting at 9am at Shelter #3 both Saturday and Sunday

Registration Info @ Alternatour.com

About Taken It All In 2008
Camping will be available at the group camp site starting on Friday night through Sunday night.  We will be playing 3 rounds (2 on Sat. and 1 on Sun.) of competitive disc golf.  Sundays round will be the final round where you will be golfing against people in your flight - which will be based on Saturday's rounds.  Lunch will be provided by Ian's Pizza both days.  Dinner will be supplied (brats, burgers...) for golfers to cook.  All condiments and necessary things will be provided for the dinners but bring a grill if you can so we have something to cook the wonderful dinners on.  There will be live music on both Saturday and Sunday after the rounds!  Optional glow round on Friday night and random draw doubles Sunday evening.

Registration – preregister by 5/9 ($50 without camping, $55 with camping) and get all the above things and a Gateway disc plus saving yourself between $10 and $15.  Register after 5/9 up until event for $65 without player's package.

Event profits will be donated to the Madison Area Disc Club Basket Fund

Does registration fee cover the cost to play the course, or do you still need to pay the fee to play token?

The registration will cover the cost to play both Saturday and Sunday.  If you choose to play Friday that will have to be payed by the player.  On the bottom of the registration form there is a spot to put your Token season pass # and this is to keep me from having to pay for someone who already has payed to play the course for the year.  So if you have a pass please let me know so we can give monre money to the MADC Basket Fund.
peace
Nic
ps. thanks for asking Mike - hope to see you there!

It is a group camp site so there are no assigned spots.  After 5pm group camp will be available to set up stuff.

This is going to kick butt. I've had four parties at that campsite, and they've all been a hoot.

I'm definitely in for glow.

Nic - my token pass is #319.

For anyone who happens to know the answer... will theToken Creek disc golf course be closed to the public while the tournament is going on Sat. & Sun.? If so, can you tell me when the course will be available for open play both Sat. & Sun.
We have season passes & like to take advantage of whatever available play time we have on our home course Grin Thanks.

Thanks for the answer. I was just going to say never mind about my question, since I did just read on the forum that the course couldn't be reserved unless it was PDGA sanctioned. I understand the reason behind it, being I'm one of those season pass holders. I am however not one of those people who has complained in the past. I do however think it's only fair that those with season passes should be able to play, that's why we pay the big bucks Wink There is always the option of Elver or Hiestand, but I prefer to play at Token Creek, since that is the course I appreciate the most, and that I've paid to use.
I'm guessing that play will end up being a bit inconvenient on Sat. & Sun. for those playing in the tournament, due to the amount of people showing up to play that aren't in the tournament. Every year that goes by, Token Creek seems to have more traffic.

Everyone should definitely come out for the disc swap tonight starting at 5:00.  Kim has 4 bins full of discs she's gotten over the past 5 years.  She has never gotten rid of anything before!  There is some nice stuff in there including 2 CE classic rocs.  I've got two bins full with rocs, destroyers, wraiths, aviars and other stuff.  Come get some cheap plastic!

you going to be there for the tourney too? I may be interested in picking up a destroyer (preferably Champion or Star plastic). I wont be able to make it tonight because I have to clean up my old apartment tonight, but will be there for the tourney.
