I will be starting/running an Elver singles league on Thursdays with start times around five o'clock like at Hiestand. The format will be as follows:

1.) $2 to play with optional $1 for ace pool
2.) Barber Poll (alternating pro and amateur tee pads) determined by the day of the month. i.e. odd number day means odd holes from pro tees.
3.) NO Handicap to begin but may be needed
4.) 100% pay out in CASH down to 3rd place
5.) Bag Tag Challenge optional
6.) I will keep track of scores so if handicaps are needed they will be easily determined
7.) New players will play scratch the first week

Thursday Elver League will start as soon as the baskets go in. Also, Chad Inman will be starting a Wednesday night league at Token Creek.

Dave should be posting something soon about the start time.

I'm going to ask the question now because I know it will come up.

If we are playing Barber Pole, which means long tees then short tees,
and since the starting date, June 5th, is an odd number,
does this mean we will be playing the AM Tee on Hole #18?

Or, will Hole #18 always be from the Pro/Long Tee?

I was planning on making it to Elver tonight but wont be able too.  Mike is planning to be there around 5:15 or so

I was going to stop by Play-It-Again-Sports first,
then on to Elver to play.

I'll try to get there by 5pm.

But, the league is delayed till June 12.
So, we'll be playing long tees on the Even holes first.

But, I'm pretty sure it will be @ Hole #1.
