What is Adopt-a-Hole?

Picture
In 2005 the MADC Board implemented the Adopt-a-Hole program at Elver Park to show the Madison Parks Department the Club was being proactive in tackling the growing trash problem. In 2006, the program was donated and installed 18 garbage cans at Elver. The following year, 18 additional garbage cans were donated and installed at Hiestand Park, and the program generated 18 more volunteers to adopt those holes.

Volunteer!

It's disc golfers like you who "adopt" a hole. The responsibilities of an Adopt-a-Holer are:
  • General maintenance, trash and debris clean-up around your hole and through the fairways;
  • Contacting your course's coordinator of any problems or concerns with your hole; and
  • Special attention prior to tournaments and/or special events.
